Xishan Temple

    Xishan Temple, which used to be called Guandi Temple, was first built in the period of Tianshun Emperor in Ming Dynasty .The Temple looks northeast .The grand entrance is connected to the Front Hall with three brilliant gates standing side by side. Sculptures and wall painting are everywhere under the eaves or on the inside walls .The eaves were inlaid with vivid colorful sculptures of Chinese God of Sun, God of Moon and other figures in various postures .The main construction, which is composed of the Frontal Hall steps, the left side Guanyin Hall and the right side Sanyuan Hall side by side, looks magnificent and grand. In the niches, are the statuaries of Guan Yu, Guan Ping and Zhou Cang. Their configurations are similar to the civilian imagination. Besides, many ancient cultural relics are showed in the temple.
