Ancestral Temple of Family Huang
    Huang Shijun, a Number One Scholar in the 35th Year of Wanli, Ming Dynasty(1603), who was assumed as a minister of the Ministry of Rites and a grand secretary of Wenyuan Pavilion. The Ancestral Temple of Family Huang is the ancestral shrine of Huang Shijun, which is a half-timbered peak-type building set up in Ming Dynasty(about 400 years ago), with a floor area of 1,614 square meters. After renovation, the building styles in different periods had been reserved. 
    With the essence of the ancient architectural art, the richly ornamented ancestral building is in wonderful workmanship excelling nature, integrated vivid stone and brick carving with exquisite wood and grey carving, so it presents great artistry and nature. In 1998, the ancestral temple was approved as a key protected historic site in Shunde by Shunde People's Government, and it was won the title of a key protected historic site in Guangdong in 2002.
